Vote for change

As everyone mustve seen, Election campaigns are taking everything by storm. Social media, posters, broadcasts, tshirts the works. While driving with my person on Friday afternoon we passed a group of students handing out ANC pamphlets singing and dancing away. The drive continued and as we reached Claremont and there we had DA teamworkers handing out pamphlets and and little packets off biscuits out. It was so cute. It was ironic as we were just talking about who we were going to vote for and that itself was weird because we never talk to each other about politics. Unless its that of our own.

After a lengthy debate of who was the best party to vote for I still don't know who I want to vote for. No one has really given me a great reason to vote for them. Today as it as still bothering me, I decided to ask my peers and to my horror no one was really interested. "It's a holiday...why must I go stand in a line and vote" was the most common answer. Uhm...maybe because your vote actually does count. Together we can change South Africa. Whats the point of complaining about the way the country is run if you don't want to make an effort of deciding who runs it. What exactly did Mr Mandela fight for. Psssssh these ignorant people of today. I may not be certain of who im voting for as yet(i have an inkling though) but im definatly going to be at the voting station on Wednesday and I hope to see some familiar faces as well.
Are you voting? Where?
