Table Mountain

My trip to table mountain

.

Born and living in Cape Town for the past 20 years and I’ve never been to Table mountain.
Disgraceful??? That doesn’t even begin to describe it!'

So for my beautiful sister’s birthday we decided to go to this mountain we so often look at when driving to places and get out if it really was amazing as everyone said it was.

We got there, got out of the car and immediately a heat wave hit us. It was hell on earth…especially for people who were wearing a lot of clothing. We started undressing ourselves removing as much clothes still trying to maintain as much decency as possible.

What I loved was that as we stood in the line they had these cooling zones that sprayed littlespurts of water mist to cool visitors down. That really helped a lot. We bought our tickets and headed up to heaven…well that’s what I’ve been told it was.
Table Mountain is now one of the seven wonders of the world. And rightfully so. As the cable car went up the floor rotated giving everyone an equal view of the beautiful city below us.

After what seemed like a minute we got to the top and I officialy had the right to say I was on Table mountain and the world that describes it most accurately is MAJESTIC!!!

It definatly saw what everyone had been raving about! It was amazing. There was a cute little restaurant on top that was so welcoming. We walked the path and stopped to take as many photos as we possibily could. The views from the top were mesmerizing! The further we walked the trail, the more beautiful it got. And just when you think it couldn’t get any better we were literally walking through the clouds. Definatly needs to be on the list of things to do before you die.
