The spud

A typical Spud is an ordinary potato put into the microwave till its edible. Something I make often especially when im home alone and to lazy to make something decent.
So recently when I visited 'The Coffee shop' at Grandwest (where House of Coffees was 1st situated) and
I was intrigued by the spud being on the menu so I knew I had to try it out.

And honestly I wasn't disappointed. You have 3 options as a topping for your  potato being : Chicken pieces, Mushroom sauce or Cheese sauce. When my plate arrived I got excited! I choose the chicken peices which came with a Cheese sauce as well (so that's like the best option, right?)
Its accompanied by a small serving of salad (that had Feta cheese!!! yaaaaaaay!) and that has the most GORGEOUS fresh balsamic dressing I have ever tasted. My people watched me as I dug in and took my first forkful and I felt like a judge on Masterchef.
ITS SERIOUSLY AMAZING! Plus its less than R40!!

I find myself craving it every now and again and Im not even going to attempt to make it at home anymore because it just wouldn't be the same.

Do go try it an let me know what you think. :)
