Rhodes Memorial is a historical site in honor of Cecil john Rhodes. But im not going to bore you with a history lesson as this post is how this could be the perfect date. It doesn’t even have to be with your significant other. I’d suggest you go with you family, your children or even your best friends. It’s a really beautiful place to take photos and when you do visit there’s an 80% chance a wedding group would be taking their photos there too.
 

 What I did was make a huge gift bag filled with goodies for a little picnic. I seem to have a new found love for picnics nowadays. So I got a blanky, 2 packs of playing cards and our food and we had our little picnic. It’s really beautiful especially for nature loving people. People come and walk their dogs, go for their daily jogs, do environmental studies or even just sit and chill in the car.

And while you up there do check out the coffee shop there that makes the most heavenly Hot chocolate ever. It’s so cute because it’s served in a glass (yes a glass that you’d drink juice out of with little metal handles). I thought it was adorable. Also near the restaurant is like a play pen to keep the little ones entertained.

 

We sat, had our hot chocolate, had our picnic, played cards, watched the brides go by and took millions of pictures.
